OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The representation of parties as a recognised agent by recognised agents under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the representation of parties as a recognised agent by recognised agents is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every recognised agent carrying on the representation of parties as a recognised agent shall make an application in Form A to the High Court within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the representation of parties as a recognised agent is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
