STANDING ORDER

To

All Garrison Engineers,

Subject: Dealing in military stores by dealers in military stores under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to dealing in military stores by dealers in military stores.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in military stores carrying on dealing in military stores shall make an application in Form B to the Cantonment Board within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Garrison Engineer shall ensure that identity card is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Cantonment Board within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
