STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Housing Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that no-objection certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
