STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The management of a math by managers of a math under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 42 of 1959), the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a math by managers of a math.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a math carrying on the management of a math shall make an application in Form G to the Government of Rajasthan within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Charity Commissioner shall ensure that inventory of jewels is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Rajasthan within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan.
