STANDING ORDER

All Revenue Inspectors,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964 (Goa Act 7 of 1964), the General Administration Department, Government of Goa hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Revenue Inspector shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Goa.
