STANDING ORDER
To
All District Child Protection Officers,
Subject: The employment of women by employers of women under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the employment of women by employers of women.
2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of women carrying on the employment of women shall make an application in Form VI to the Committee within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The District Child Protection Officer shall ensure that report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Committee within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
