STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 42 of 1959), the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that audit report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
