OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra on the manner in which the entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation is to be regulated under the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person employed in a defence installation carrying on the entry into a defence installation shall make an application in Form F to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the entry into a defence installation is undertaken, and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
