OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Street vending by street vendors under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which street vending by street vendors is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
2. The matter has been examined. Every street vendor carrying on street vending shall make an application in Form C to the Development Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which street vending is undertaken, and the Development Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
