STANDING ORDER

All Fertiliser Inspectors,

Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1987), the Agriculture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Tamil Nadu within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Fertiliser Inspector shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Tamil Nadu within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
