OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Punjab on the manner in which the sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides is to be regulated under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form H to the Market Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of insecticides is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Punjab.
