OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The storage of explosives by licensees of an explosives magazine under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra on the manner in which the storage of explosives by licensees of an explosives magazine is to be regulated under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of an explosives magazine carrying on the storage of explosives shall make an application in Form VI to the State Government within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of explosives is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
