STANDING ORDER
To
All Registrars,
Subject: The business of a broker by brokers under the Karnataka Money Lenders Act, 1961, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Money Lenders Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1961), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the business of a broker by brokers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every broker carrying on the business of a broker shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Firms within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Registrar shall ensure that delivery order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Firms within thirty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
