OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the survey of land by licensed surveyors is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 3 to the Tahsildar within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Rajasthan.
