OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form H to the State Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a hazardous installation is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
