OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The occupation of evacuee property by allottees of evacuee property under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the occupation of evacuee property by allottees of evacuee property is to be regulated under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of evacuee property carrying on the occupation of evacuee property shall make an application in Form 3 to the Competent Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of evacuee property is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
