STANDING ORDER
To
All Circles Inspector of Excise,
Subject: The working of a distillery by distillers under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17 of 1968), the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a distillery by distillers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every distiller carrying on the working of a distillery shall make an application in Form G to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. The Circle Inspector of Excise shall ensure that bottle is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
