STANDING ORDER

To

All Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form E to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Charity Commissioner shall ensure that budget is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
