OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Urban Development Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the possession of land by persons in possession of land is to be regulated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the possession of land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Telangana.
