OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The functions of a kazi by kazis under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Uttarakhand on the manner in which the functions of a kazi by kazis is to be regulated under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024.

2. The matter has been examined. Every kazi carrying on the functions of a kazi shall make an application in Form II to the Central Adoption Resource Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the functions of a kazi is undertaken, and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
