STANDING ORDER

All Waqf Officers,

Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983 (Uttar Pradesh Act 29 of 1983), the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form G to the Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that budget is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
