OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the receipt and payment of Government moneys by treasuries is to be regulated under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every treasury carrying on the receipt and payment of Government moneys shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Directorate of Treasuries within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt and payment of Government moneys is undertaken, and the Directorate of Treasuries shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
