STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form E to the State Executive Committee within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that incident report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Executive Committee within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
