OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The production of films by producers of films under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the production of films by producers of films is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955.

2. The matter has been examined. Every producer of films carrying on the production of films shall make an application in Form IV to the Broadcasting Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of films is undertaken, and the Broadcasting Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
