OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The coaching of athletes by coaches under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the coaching of athletes by coaches is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every coach carrying on the coaching of athletes shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Goa within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the coaching of athletes is undertaken, and the Government of Goa shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Goa.
