OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Social Welfare Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Rajasthan.
