STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 42 of 1959), the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form G to the Commissioner of Endowments within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that account is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan.
