OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Kerala Education Act, 1958, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre is to be regulated under the Kerala Education Act, 1958.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form D to the Board of Secondary Education within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of vocational training is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Kerala.
