OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The making of complaints by complainants under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the making of complaints by complainants is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every complainant carrying on the making of complaints shall make an application in Form G to the State Information Commission within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the making of complaints is undertaken, and the State Information Commission shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
