OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Environment Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land is to be regulated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 14 to the Settlement Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Telangana.
