OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form C to the District Education Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of vocational training is undertaken, and the District Education Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
