STANDING ORDER

To

All Directors,

Subject: The representation of athletes by sports agents under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Labour Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the representation of athletes by sports agents.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports agent carrying on the representation of athletes shall make an application in Form D to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Director shall ensure that contract of an athlete is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Telangana.
