OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports goods manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of sports goods shall make an application in Form F to the National Sports Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of sports goods is undertaken, and the National Sports Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Goa.
