STANDING ORDER

To

All Registering Officers,

Subject: The operation of a community radio station by community radio stations under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a community radio station by community radio stations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every community radio station carrying on the operation of a community radio station shall make an application in Form III to the Press Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Registering Officer shall ensure that print line is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Press Registrar within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
