OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sponsoring of a competition by sponsors of a competition under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the sponsoring of a competition by sponsors of a competition is to be regulated under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sponsor of a competition carrying on the sponsoring of a competition shall make an application in Form C to the Disciplinary Panel within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sponsoring of a competition is undertaken, and the Disciplinary Panel shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana.
