OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form D to the Development Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a parking lot is undertaken, and the Development Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
