STANDING ORDER

To

All Naib Tahsildars,

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020 (Telangana Act 9 of 2020), the Information Technology Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Board of Revenue within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that survey number is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Telangana.
