STANDING ORDER

All Directors,

Subject: The running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool under the Kerala Sports Act, 2000, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Sports Act, 2000 (Kerala Act 1 of 2000), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a swimming pool carrying on the running of a swimming pool shall make an application in Form B to the Disciplinary Panel within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Director shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Disciplinary Panel within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala.
