OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of a real estate project by promoters under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the development of a real estate project by promoters is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972.

2. The matter has been examined. Every promoter carrying on the development of a real estate project shall make an application in Form B to the Competent Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a real estate project is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
