STANDING ORDER
To
All Export Inspectors,
Subject: The setting up of a unit by units under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 45 of 2002), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the setting up of a unit by units.
2. The matter has been examined. Every unit carrying on the setting up of a unit shall make an application in Form ANF-5A to the Export Inspection Council within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Export Inspector shall ensure that shipping bill is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Export Inspection Council within one hundred and eighty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
