OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The conduct of examinations by examination centres under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the conduct of examinations by examination centres is to be regulated under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every examination centre carrying on the conduct of examinations shall make an application in Form B to the District Education Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of examinations is undertaken, and the District Education Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Gujarat.
