STANDING ORDER

To

All Station Fire Officers,

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form H to the National Executive Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Station Fire Officer shall ensure that register of shelters is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Executive Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
