OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade is to be regulated under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall make an application in Form D to the Municipal Council within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade is undertaken, and the Municipal Council shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Gujarat.
