OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The working of a winery by licensees of a winery under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the working of a winery by licensees of a winery is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall make an application in Form H to the Licensing Authority within ten days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a winery is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
