STANDING ORDER

To

All Naib Tahsildars,

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that register of holdings is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sub-Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
