OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of an institution by institutions under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Education Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the running of an institution by institutions is to be regulated under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995.

2. The matter has been examined. Every institution carrying on the running of an institution shall make an application in Form E to the Director of Education within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an institution is undertaken, and the Director of Education shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
