STANDING ORDER

All Registrars,

Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (Kerala Act 21 of 1969), the Agriculture Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Registrar shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Kerala.
