OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form III to the Commission within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an anganwadi centre is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
