OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The typing of pleadings for reward by court typists under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the typing of pleadings for reward by court typists is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court typist carrying on the typing of pleadings for reward shall make an application in Form G to the High Court within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the typing of pleadings for reward is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
