STANDING ORDER
To
All Executive Officers,
Subject: The management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a gurdwara by committees of a gurdwara.
2. The matter has been examined. Every committee of a gurdwara carrying on the management of a gurdwara shall make an application in Form G to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Executive Officer shall ensure that lease of trust property is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
